RYAN WHITE HIV HEALTH SERVICES PLANNING COUNCIL
The Ryan White Part A/B HIV Health Services Planning Council is the channel where people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) can express their needs and have funds allocated to where health services are needed most. It is also where all Ryan White federally funded providers like the FDOH-Duval report their expenditures to meet these needs.
The Ryan White Part A/B HIV Health Services Planning Council updates the Comprehensive Plan every five years in coordination with the Florida Patient Care Planning Group. Annually, the Planning Council updates needs assessment data through public hearings, review of service utilization, and annual client needs assessment surveys. Process surveys and analysis are conducted locally. Information is used to develop the Comprehensive Plan, and to provide information to the Priority & Allocations committee annually.
The Planning Council meets monthly.
