HIV TESTING

The CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 should have an HIV test in their lifetime. Pregnant women should be tested in their first and third trimester. Those with ongoing risks should be tested more frequently.

Where can I get tested?

Testing During Pregnancy

It is very important that you are tested for HIV at you first prenatal care visit and again at 28-32 weeks. If you are pregnant and you test positive for HIV, you can take actions to prevent your baby from acquiring HIV.
